DCSMAT has its own quiz club called DC Quiz Club (DCQC). Every year DCQC conducts the ‘DC Kizhakemuri Memorial All India Inter-Collegiate General Knowledge Quiz’ for corporates and students. The competition was first organized in January 2006 in the memory of Padmabhushan DC Kizhakemuri and it became a great success with the participation of about 100 colleges across the State. It also became well-known as a quiz competition offering one of the highest cash prizes in the State.

The fourth National Quiz Competition was held on 25th January 2009. With Quiz Master Giri Balasubrahmaniam as the Quiz Master, who has been hosting this show since 2006, the Competition drew much interest and attention.
