Guest Houses

Being a self-sufficient township, the campus is not without its own guestroom complexes. Well-furnished and self-contained guest houses are available within the campus and cater to the needs of the guests and parents who visit the campus. We presently have 12 guest rooms and another 11 are under construction/renovation

Top Guest House

This is a guest room complex with two adjoining rooms with attached toilets, a sit out and a pantry. The guest house overlooks the lush green hills of Vagamon and offers one of the best views of the scenic beauty of Vagamon.

Guest Rooms Near Auditorium

We have a complex of three guest rooms with attached toilets and a common sitting room. It is located just below the auditorium and is easily accessible, making it very convenient for guest faculty

Guest Room Complex Below Cafeteria

There are five well-appointed guest rooms in the complex below our cafeteria, with a wide verandah. These overlook a man-made lake, a flowing stream and the adjoining hills providing a quite but sublime ambience. Each of the room has a beautiful mural on one of its walls. The rooms have been named after the famous tourist spots of Kerala viz. Kovalam, Munnar, Varkkala, Kumarakom, Thekkady

Sahya Guest House

This guest house complex consists of 2 bedrooms with attached toilets and pantry/living room. Located at one corner of the campus, it provides a good view into the hills descending into the valleys. The Guest house in the evenings, is a favourite haunting grounds of an immense variety of butterflies.

DC County Guest Room Complex

This is a luxuriously appointed three bed guest room complex overlooking the scenic sloping hillocks of Vagamon. The Guest house is two storied and has two guest rooms with attached toilets in the ground floor and one bedroom with attached toilet in the first floor. It has a common living room in the first floor besides a spacious kitchen. The guest room complex boasts of a wide open balcony on the first floor and a grand portico in the ground floor. The first-floor guest rooms are directly accessible from the road also. The complex has its own garage and staff quarter. The Guest Room complex has been re-designed by the famous architect Ar TM Cyriac

The Grove

Lying between Sahya and DC County Guest Room complexes is another Guest Room complex – The Grove. Its location amidst the almost forest like ambience, provides quiet solitude and peaceful atmosphere. The complex has three independent units with the two outer units having three bedrooms with attached toilets and the middle one having two bedrooms with attached toilets and a common kitchen. The complex has wide open verandahs in the front and in the rear, providing a peep into the forests surrounding it. The Guest Room complex has also been re-designed by the famous architect Ar TM Cyriac.

Alumni Guest House

The Alumni guest house is co-located with the Alumni and Staff Club, situated just outside the main gate. Alumni who visit the campus can make use of this facility if they are staying overnight. The Alumni can make full use of the club facilities and can order refreshments and meals from the nearby Babu’s Thattukada.
