Prof Ramachandran is a Fellow in Management (Ph. D) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India. He had done his Master’s in Commerce (1971). (First Class, First Rank) in the University of Kerala.
He has more than 35 years of professional experience as a management teacher and as a consultant. This includes professorship in IIM Calcutta, Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Management Consultant in Management Advisory Services, Kochi and Chairperson, JRS Consultants Private Limited, Kochi.
He has also been a visiting professor in Royal University of Law and Economics, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Academy of Economics and Finance, Vientiane, Laos, Institute of Development Economics, Naples, Italy, Maastricht School of Management Netherlands, Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA, Maastricht, and School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, China.
He has authored a number of books related to his field and has a large number of publications to his credit. Prof Ramachandran has also developed a number of cases which are being used in IIM Calcutta and other premier Institutions.
He has also undertaken a large number of consultancies in India and abroad. His areas of interest include the Financial Structure of Industries, Corporate Financial Accounting, and Strategic Cost Management.
An award-winning Architect with over three and a half decades of experience in Architecture, Interior Designing, and project management. He has worked across all segments of Architecture and infrastructure projects, nationally and internationally, delivering world-class projects which stand testimony to time. After he re-engineered the construction process, he has developed designs and detailing that mitigate the inter-dependency in project execution.
An entrepreneur at heart, he has set up a furniture manufacturing unit catering to in house projects. He has also encouraged futuristic start-ups as an angel investor. A good public speaker, people’s person, with a good sense of humour and has an innovative approach to life in general. Mr. Shankar enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and indulge in philosophy.
Dr. Jaims looks at Marketing evolution from the Classical to the Consumer-driven web 2.0, to the digital tracking and retargeting Marketing 3.0, to the AI-driven customised contextual persuasions and customer experience management. His favorite training programmes are in Marketing Analytics with IBM SPSS Statistics, Modeler, RapidMiner, Tableau and some sprinkling of Excel and Supervised and Unsupervised Learning packages.
Prof. Jaims’ researches are in a Comprehensive Buyer-Behaviour Model, and coupling of Univariate and Multivariate techniques for descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
He teaches updated Marketing Courses on Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Research and Marketing Management with a view to driving students to Modern Marketing Models to keep them relevant and future-ready. He hails from a Liberal Arts background, with a relatively more grounded Rural Management graduation from IRMA and data-driven decision making.
Chronologically, Prof. Jaims has industry experience of ten years in primary production system organisations (Dairy, Fisheries and Soya products), seven years in own training and consulting venture, and ten years of full-time teaching in two Business Schools (six in a premium Institute and four in a sub-premium one), and four years in doctoral research and part-time teaching.
He is focussed on Ethical Entrepreneurs, and Ethical Managers who work with conscious and unconscious behaviours with data sets to monitor and improve upon. He also teaches Critical Thinking.
Dr. M. Krishnakumar has completed his Ph. D in Management Science from Anna University, Chennai. His Ph.D. research was focused on the mediating effect of past buying behaviour and past buying experience on future apparel buying intention. He has completed MBA, BSc (Costume Design and Fashion), and Diploma in Textiles.
Regarding his professional experience, he has a total of 28 years of professional experience, in which 15 years in the Academic field and 13 years in Industry. He has worked in Indonesia for about 8 years in a managerial position in several textile and apparel industries. In the academic field, he has worked as an Associate professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kannur, and also a Principal at the Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala in Kollam.
He has published about 32 papers and articles in various national and international journals and magazines. He has also published two books in the field of merchandising and costing. He has presented several papers at national and international conferences and has attended 11 seminars and workshops. He has been a guest speaker at the India Fashion Forum International Conference, Mumbai in 2018. He has given guest lectures at the Department of Design, Housing and Merchandising, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, US while his visit to the US as a part of the US-India Education Foundation Project.
He has been a member of the Ad-hoc Board of Studies, University of Madras to frame the syllabus for MSc & BSc (Textile & Fashion Design), and has been a Scrutiny Board Chairman for scrutiny of question papers in the University of Kerala. He has held additional responsibilities like Head of the Department and Project Unit In Charge during his academic career. His area of interest is Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, Operation Research (Quantitative Techniques), Retail Management, Consumer Behaviour, and Fashion & Export merchandising.
Rahul K Sukumaran is a practicing architect and landscape designer, an illustrator and artist, and has been involved with projects of diverse scale and of different types. He graduated from the College of Engineering Trivandrum and completed Masters from CEPTUniversity Ahmedabad. His achievements include the ‘ISOLA Students Award 2015′ for the best Post-Graduate thesis in India awarded by the Indian Society of Landscape Architects. His thesis also bagged the Best thesis award 2015 from Landscape Architecture Department, CEPT University. It was also selected as the entry from CEPT University for the biennial international graduate project competition, Archiprix 2017.
A consultant and trainer in the field of Research Methodology and Business Analytics, her research and teaching experience spans over 4 years. She was awarded a Doctorate in Management Studies in the domain of Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Kerala. She has received Post Doctorate Fellowship in the domain of Blockchain Technology and Supply Chain Management from the University of Kerala. She has presented papers in many National and International conferences of which she has received Best Research Paper award from IIM Sirmaur. She has many publications to her credit in National/International journals of repute. She has worked in several reputed B-schools and her interest areas include Research Methodology, Business Research, Business Analytics, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
Achuth H is, by profession, an Architect and an Urban planner with an experience of working on urban scale projects both individually and with the Government. He did his Bachelors in Architecture from Holy Crescent College of Architecture, Kerala, and Masters in Urban housing from CEPT University, Ahmedabad.
He is the founding manager of “AH Design” – an architecture and Urban planning organisation in Kerala. He was engaged in various professional practices and researches in areas of housing policy and projects, urban planning and legislation, and participatory urban governance. He has been carrying out research -work in the field of Land and Housing, Urban Poverty, and Slum areas. Along with academics, in the past years, he had also been worked extensively on a variety of research and consultancy projects for State and Central Governments in India, NGOs, and international funding bodies.
