The board of advisors at DCSMAT consists of members who possess diverse and extensive professional experiences in academics and administration.
Dr Beena George obtained her PhD in Information Systems from University of Houston. Earlier she served as Associate Professor at the Cameron School, Department of Management and Marketing & Business. Dr.George is currently the fourth Dean at the Cameron School of Business, New University of St Thomas in Houston.
DCSMAT reiterates its promise to develop business leaders who can drive meaningful change within a business. Recent crises have emphasised the need for responsible and responsive business leaders who create value for their businesses and their communities. DCSMAT students are well equipped to take on these leadership roles as they live and learn in a close-knit community where the students interact daily with their faculty, mentors and peers with continuous access to learning resources. Professor Ramachandran is a highly respected academic with a vast set of experiences. A postgraduate from Kerala University, Dr.Ramachandran obtained his doctorate in management from the Indian Institute of Management , Calcutta and then joined the faculty as a professor. Later on in his career, Ramachandran worked professional stints in numerous international agencies.
Ravi DeeCee is the guiding spirit, President & Chief Facilitator of DC School Institutions. He is also the founding trustee and member secretary of the DC Kizhakemuri Foundation.
A visionary and an innovator, deeply committed to the spreading of knowledge, literature and education, Ravi heads DC Books, one of India‘s largest publishing houses. He is also the Managing Director of Current Books, the largest retail chain of book stores in South India.
Ravi DeeCee has travelled extensively across the world delivering lectures and attending seminars in publishing. He currently serves on many boards and government associations and sector specific apex bodies including Federation of Indian Publishers, The Indus Entrepreneurs, Confederation of Indian Industry, Kendra Sahitya Akademi and the Higher Education Council.
Brig MC Ashok Kumar (Retd) is an officer with a rich experience of 35 years in the Indian Army and another 12 years in the corporate/educational sector. His areas of expertise include military operations including Counter Insurgency operations, strategic management, logistics and supply chain management, organisational behaviour, human resources management and general administration.
He holds a post graduate degree in Military Science (graded outstanding) from Madras University, and another in Management Sciences from Osmania University, with a grade of “First Class with Distinction’.
He is also a graduate of prestigious tri-service institutions, Defence Services Staff College and College of Defence Management.
He has also served as a faculty in premier training institutes of Tri-Services including the Infantry School, Defence Services Staff College and the College of Defence Management. In the latter he was the Head of the Dept of HRD in the Faculty of Organisational Behaviour.
The officer had also served with the United Nations in Namibia (UNTAG) as military observer in 1989-90. His service in the corporate sector includes a tenure as Vice Chairman of Canteen Stores Dept and State Head of Supply Chain (Kerala), Reliance Retail.
From 2009 till 2021, he has been the Director and subsequently Group Director and Dean Operations of DCSMAT Institutions (except for a sabbatical of one year in between).

Mr. C. Balagopal was an IAS Officer of the Assam cadre and had served both in Assam and Kerala till he resigned from the civil services to promote the Penninsula Polymers Ltd in 1983 in Trivandrum. Penninsula became Terumo Penpol after the Japanese company Terumo acquired controlling stake in the company. Mr.Balagopal has been MD of TPL since 1988. The company is a leader in bio-medical devices and blood bags. A prolific reader and writer, he has published extensively on the blood transfusion business and services. He is a staunch advocate for a National Blood Service.

Dr. Veni M Nair has over 27 years of experience in management education, with strong skills in both teaching and administration. She has worked in top business schools across India and the UAE, including cities like Chennai, Trivandrum, Mumbai, and Dubai.
She began her academic journey with a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Kerala. She later completed an MBA in Marketing from the same university. Her deep interest in learning led her to earn a PhD, focusing on how women entrepreneurs perform in Kerala.
She is well known for her work in Consumer Insights and Entrepreneurship and has written many research papers. She also edited a book called “Tinkering Minds: Journey of Startup Entrepreneurs,” which tells the inspiring stories of startup founders.
One of her major achievements was setting up a Business Incubation Center to support new businesses. Her dedication to promoting entrepreneurship was recognized in 2015 when she won the “Best Faculty in Entrepreneurship Education” award from the Higher Education Forum in Mumbai.
