DCSMAT Trivandrum is set amidst a 72 acre expansive plot of KINFRA Film & Video Park, near Trivandrum. The state of the art infrastructure of KINFRA campus is inclusive of an open air theatre, conference halls and guest houses. The campus has dedicated power and water supply and advanced communication facilities. It also has food courts, a mini-conference hall, shooting locales, exhibition areas and preview theatres. Being in the vicinity of Technopark and major IT companies, the campus is in the centre of a business environment. KINFRA also has the Ernst & Young offices and a host of top-notch post production studios. The iconic Sainik School is situated adjacent to the DCSMAT campus.

Radio DC is a non-commercial community radio administered by the DC School of Management and Technology Trivandrum (DCSMAT-TVM). It is the first private FM (frequency modulated) community radio station in Kerala. It is located in KINFRA Film and Video Park, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. It broadcasts at 90.4 MHz. All the operations in the radio station are owned and managed by the students of DCSMAT with support from the faculty.
With its unique offers, the DCSMAT Trivandrum campus distinguishes out in the field of management education. The organization supports a Student Ownership Program that promotes independence and responsibility, as well as Management Development Programs (MDPs) that cultivate leadership abilities. Sharing of information is facilitated via evening talks, and internships and guest lecturers are made possible by strong industry ties. Research projects are supported by a Research Consulting Cell, and creative and innovative thinking is encouraged via an Innovation/Creative Hub. Additionally, student health is a priority at monthly medical camps. A thorough and industry-aligned educational experience is offered by DCSMAT Trivandum.
At DCSMAT Trivandrum, there is a unique onstage communication improvement program called Executive Presentation, The main objectives of this program is to improve the communications skill and public speaking. This program will buildup competency among budding managers in corporate presentation. The EP program always hence the leadership and Organizing skills of students, since the program has been conducted under students leadership.
The Case Methodology of Teaching is characterized by the in-depth analysis and discussion of real-life business situations and challenges. This dynamic pedagogical method offers a range of benefits that significantly enhance the learning experience for our students. The Case Methodology encourages our students to think critically and critically evaluate different viewpoints. This helps them recognize biases, assumptions, and logical fallacies, leading to more well-rounded analyses.
Newspaper Analysis & Business Quiz
The Newspaper Analysis Activity is an invaluable tool for DCSMAT Trivandrum students, providing them with a structured approach to dissecting and interpreting news articles. This activity offers numerous benefits that are particularly pertinent to their academic and professional development. Our students often grapple with the challenge of connecting theoretical concepts with real-world applications. Newspapers cover a wide array of economic and business-related topics. Engaging in this activity helps our students stay abreast of market trends, policy changes, and industry developments. This knowledge is invaluable for making informed business decisions. The Newspaper Analysis Activity bridges this gap by exposing them to current affairs, enabling them to apply their knowledge to real-time situations. Along with the newspaper analysis the students are engaged in weekly Business Quiz organised and conducted online by Business Stand
DCSMAT Trivandrum is deeply entrenched in its association with the Trivandrum Management Association (TMA) and holds affiliation with the All India Management Association (AIMA), a preeminent body of professional managers dedicated to promoting excellence in management across India. TMA, established in 1985, boasts a membership of nearly 300 individuals, over 30 corporate entities, and nearly 300 students. TMA’s flagship events, the Annual Convention branded as TRIMA, and the esteemed Management Leadership Award, recognizing individuals demonstrating exceptional leadership in Management within Kerala State, stand as testament to their commitment to the field. The Trivandrum Management Association’s Student Chapter is a highly engaged and dynamic group, actively participating in numerous management events and competitions. This involvement not only refines their skills but also fortifies their professional network. Through these activities, students gain invaluable insights, elevate their knowledge, and nurture essential leadership qualities crucial in the competitive world of management.
DCSMAT Trivandrum students actively engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities as part of their commitment to creating a positive impact in society and uniquely branded as “AHAM”. These initiatives demonstrate a strong sense of social responsibility and a desire to contribute meaningfully beyond the classroom. Our students participate in various community engagement activities, including volunteering at local NGOs, organizing health camps, and conducting educational workshops. These efforts aim to address pressing social issues and uplift underprivileged communities. DCSMAT Trivandrum students initiate health and wellness programs, such as organizing health camps, blood donation drives, and awareness campaigns on prevalent health issues. FORZA is an annual webinar series hosted online by DC School of Management and Technology Trivandrum. It is a Platform for students, educators and parents to relieve them from the stress and relax for a while through entertaining sessions. The webinar covers broad areas of healthcare, entertainment, economy & finance, tourism and travel.
