Roles and Responsibilities of Program Assessment Committee (PAC):
To track the results of Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), and plan the steps required to achieve POs, PSOs and PEOs.
To schedule the inspection period to ensure assessment of POs and PSOs in a valid time period and monitor the attainment of POs, PSOs and PEOs.
To evaluate program effectiveness and propose necessary changes/actions.
To prepare periodic reports on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management and key stakeholders.
To motivate the faculty and students towards attending workshops, developing projects, working models, paper publications and research.
To assess course content/delivery.
To interact with students, faculty, program coordinators, module coordinators and external/community agencies (through their representation) in facilitating PEOs.
The PAC meets at least once in 6 months to review the program and submits a report to the Department Advisory Board.
Interacting with stakeholders to collect the views on department Vision, Mission, and PEOs.
Monitoring the progress of Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs).
Evaluating program effectiveness and proposing necessary changes.
Preparing periodic reports on program activities, progress, status, or special reports for the Department Advisory Board (DAB).
There should be minimum 2 meetings in an academic year each per semester and meetings can be conducted on a need basis.
The coordinator must prepare the meeting minutes and present the report duly signed by every member to the IQAC within 15 days after the meeting.
