III. Proceedings and Recommendations

The meeting started with the welcoming the participant members by the Coordinator. Following were the discussions and recommended actions on the listed Agenda.

Agenda Discussions / Recommendations

  1. Re-capitulation of steps taken by the previous year Anti Ragging Committee regarding prevention steps taken was discussed.

  2. Replacement of Dr. Prajith and Dr. Sruthi Vijayakrishnan and student representatives leaving campus on completion of course.

  3. Seniors support during the Admission Day of Juniors is a good step to mingle both Juniors and Seniors.

  4. Every person in the campus – faculty, non teaching staff should intervene in the issues if notices.

  5. Ice breaking session for junior students with the support of senior students is good.

  6. Conducting Fresher’s Party Date to be decided.

  7. Combined SOP Meetings may be considered.

  8. Hostel rooms allocation – Anti Ragging Poster Fixed at strategic locations.

  9. Anti Ragging awareness talks from statutory authorities – Police officers need to be arranged initially after the new admissions Planned on 10th June, 2025 at 3.30 PM

  10. Hostel rooms allocation and floor locking is to be continued for first one month.

  11. Anti Ragging Posters need to be pasted in the strategic locations like hostels, canteen, activity center, class rooms and common areas.

  12. Anti Ragging Squad and the precautions are briefed.


IV.The coordinator with a thanking note, concluded the meeting at 5.30 PM

  1. The Anti Ragging Squad Schedule Published.

  2. Awareness Posters pasted in strategic Locations.

  3. Ragging Awareness Programme by Vagamon Police officers organized.

Anti Ragging Awareness Programme by Vagaman Police Officials

Date: 13/06/2025
Venue: B.Arch Building Lounge – 5th Floor
Time: 3.30 PM

Mr. Rajesh and Team reached to campus on formal invitation by the Principal to address the senior students in the campus. Prof. Jayan, Prof. Joy Josef, Prof. Ramesh Krishnan along with MBA students Mr. Hari Shankar, Ms. Athira, Ms. Ardra, Ms. Divya received and Ms. Athira welcomed and introduced them to the audience.

Police officials Mr. Rajesh and Team briefed on what comes under ragging and the consequences.
