Professor Sreekumar Ancheri was the Founding Director, Dean and Chief Advisor of with DC School of Management and Technology (DCSMAT) Group of Institutions until his demise in 2015. He was an academician who brought substantial changes to the management education scenario in Kerala, introducing the concept of learning and teaching through case methodology for the first time in Kerala at DCSMAT. He also introduced the use of Course Management Software – Moodle. Both these initiatives were far ahead of their times in Kerala. Professor Ancheri always believed in disruptive innovation and his academic leadership in DCSMAT inspired faculty and students to excel in the teaching and learning processes.  His academic workshops were milestones for every new member of the faculty and his constant monitoring of the delivery of course content is remembered fondly even today.

A fellow of IIM (Ahmedabad) , Professor Ancheri holds an MBA from CUSAT and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum. He initially worked at SAIL from 1988 to 1990 and then worked with Goa University as Dean, Faculty of Management Studies from 1996.

Professor Ancheri held numerous illustrious positions in his career, including stints as visiting professor at Arero, Portugal and IIM (Kozhikode). He was a regular invitee to IIM Ahmedabad conducting training sessions on case methodology for the faculty. His academic leadership continues to inspire faculty and students at DCSMAT institutions.
