Overview:
The Institute Disciplinary Committee is constituted to maintain discipline in the Institute. The committee ensures that students obey rules and remain orderly and peaceful, pursuing educational objectives/goals in the Institute community.

Student Representatives

Responsibilities of Discipline Committee:

  • To maintain and enforce strict discipline within the Institute campus.

  • In case of any violation of dress code or disturbance in the class, the ID card will be confiscated from the student and returned the same day with a warning and advice from the Disciplinary Committee Members.

  • In case of misbehavior or violation of Institute rules, the ID cards of students will be kept with the Disciplinary Committee until the enquiry is over.

  • To monitor student movement and prevent loitering in corridors during working hours.

  • Students must obtain prior permission to leave the Institute early.

  • Any damage to property caused by students will result in fines and disciplinary action.

  • Disciplinary action will be taken against students for continued indiscipline, based on committee rules and regulations.

  • The committee supports anti-ragging efforts and spreads awareness among students.

  • Meetings are conducted on a need basis and are mandatory before events.

  • The coordinator must prepare and submit signed meeting minutes to IQAC within 15 days after the meeting.
