Kalyani VJ is an architect and academician with 10 years of experience. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Bharath University, Chennai, followed by a Postgraduate degree in Urban Design from College of Engineering, Trivandrum. She has been part of DCSAAD since 2022, where she handles the 3rd Year Design Studio, Urban Design Studio, and Building Services (Plumbing & Acoustics). Her teaching approach blends interactive theory sessions, hands-on site experiences, live case studies, and collaborative analysis. Her design studios are enriched with expert talks and opportunities that connect academic concepts with real-world practice. She has previously taught at College of Architecture Trivandrum and TKM College of Engineering, Kollam and has professional experience as a Junior Architect at Muralee & Associates, Trivandrum. Coming from a family of architects, she carries forward a strong architectural legacy into her teaching and practice.
