Objectives:

  • To promote active learning: Encouraging students to actively participate in marketing games and group discussions enhances their understanding of theoretical concepts and their ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
  • To develop critical thinking skills: These activities stimulate critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, which are essential in the field of marketing.
  • To foster collaboration: Group discussions promote collaboration and teamwork, preparing students for collaborative work environments they will encounter in their future careers.

Teams: Each team consists of 6 students.

Overview:

Marketing games into the curriculum to provide students with hands-on experience in making marketing decisions. Choose appropriate platforms that align with the course objectives and learning outcomes and also assign students and teams and allow them to compete or collaborate in simulated marketing scenarios.

Activity:

Marketing Game (Part 1):

Introduce the product launch simulation game

In game, students act as a marketing team responsible for launching the innovative product.

Each group has a specific product. The game has to simulate and allow groups to make

marketing Decisions, including pricing, promotion, distribution, and product features.

Group Discussion (Part 2)

Instruct each group to convene for a group discussion.

Provide discussion prompts, such as:

  • Improving Communication skills
  • Confidence Level Of Students
  • Public Speaking

Encourage them to analyze their decisions.

Benefits:

  • This activity allows students to apply marketing concepts in a simulated setting, fostering experiential learning.
  • Group discussions promote collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Book Review

Objective: 

   To inculcate the habit of self-learning while undergoing knowledge enrichment.

  • Gain knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.
  • To create awareness about the book, its author, and its relevance
  • To stimulate discussions and critical thinking by presenting the book’s themes
  • Encouraging the students to take action, such as reading the book

Overview

  • Student’s Share their personal thoughts and feelings about the book and discuss what they found challenging, or connected with in the story.
  • They have chosen this book’s and how it relates to the subject interests, class curriculum, or personal growth.
  • How reading affected their, influenced their thinking, or expanded their knowledge.
  • Students use slides, props, or images to enhance their presentation

Students not only informs about the book but also provides a personal connection and insight, fostering interest and discussion among class. And engaging themselves and organized, thoughtful deliver to effectively convey the books.

Conclusion

Skill development is crucial for young student’s future. It holds the key to increased entrepreneurship, greater employment prospects, and economic progress. Skill development helps build a strong foundation and helps build self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills. It develops problem-solving skills and collaboration. Students explore and learn things outside of their textbooks. It also gives them the freedom to think independently and make choices at an early age.
