It plays a vital role in supporting information access, knowledge dissemination, and lifelong learning in alignment with the institution’s educational mission and values.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To formulate library policies and regulations.
Collecting the requirements of the text books, reference books, journals and ensuring adequate number of copies are made available in the library as per norms.
To work towards up gradation and improvement of library services.
To prepare budget and proposals for the development of the library.
To submit the annual report on the functioning of the library.
To take measures to increase the readership of the library.
To make policies for the procurement of books and journals and to enhance the online access to journals etc.
To monitor proper functioning of the college library.
There should be minimum 2 meetings in an academic year and meetings can be conducted on need basis.
The coordinator must prepare the meeting minutes and present the report duly signed by every member to the IQAC within 15 days after the meeting.
