Scholarships

Our founder DC Kizhakemuri nurtured a conviction that quality  education formed the bedrock on which a society progressed, a lifelong commitment to the propagation of literacy. Extending his vision to a contemporary milieu in which education remains a fulcrum of social uplift, the DC Kizhakemuri Foundation awards scholarships to students from various social strata. They have all benefitted from studying MBA, BBA, B.Arch, BCA and B.Des courses at DCSMAT campuses managed by the foundation. Many students from these institutions have attained benchmarks of excellence and have gone on to secure campus placements with prominent corporate entities.

 Scholarships awarded to-

• Meritorious, economically and socially disadvantaged students.
• Students enrolled under the Kerala government’s ‘Nirbhaya’ scheme and ASHA Health Workers’s children.
• Children of retired and serving defence, central para-military and Kerala Police personnel. 
• Students from Tibetan Resettlement Colonies.
• Children of Sri Lankan expatriates.
• Students from the North Eastern states of Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Jharkhand and Sikkim.

The scholarship awarded to these students range from 100% to 25% of their tuition fees, valued at between Rs. 8,67,000/- to Rs.50,000/-.
