Ms. Heera Sasi Kumar

Heera S Kumar has been a part of the DC School of Management and Technology in Trivandrum since June 1, 2016, where she holds the position of Assistant Professor specializing in Finance and Human Resources. With over 14 years of diverse experience in both industry and academia, she has actively participated in various National and International conferences, presenting her research findings within her specialized fields. She is also a member of Indian Accounting Association. Her teaching portfolio encompasses a wide range of subjects, including Strategic Financial Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Sustainability Development, Communication and Soft Skills at the postgraduate level.

Education:

Heera S Kumar’s educational journey has been extensive and diverse. She began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Kerala and continued her academic pursuits with a Master’s Degree and an M.Phil in Commerce from the same University. To complement her financial acumen, she pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) and gained in-depth knowledge of Goods and Service Tax with a Post Graduate Diploma in Goods and Service Tax (PGDGST). Additionally, she expanded her expertise in Human Resource Management by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM). She also holds a Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration from IGNOU, which contributed to her well-rounded understanding of business and management. Currently, she is actively engaged in her Ph.D. studies in Finance at Avinashilingam University for Women in Coimbatore, further strengthening her expertise in this field.
