This report provides an overview of a unique project undertaken by a group of management students, focusing on the creation of a paper stand designed to support a fully filled water bottle using only newspaper and cello tape. The project’s primary objective was to combine resourcefulness, teamwork, and creative problem-solving to construct a functional and cost-effective solution. In this endeavor, students were guided by a series of key elements: efficient resource management, innovative thinking, quality assurance, problem-solving, time management, risk assessment, and effective communication. The project not only demonstrated the practical application of management principles but also highlighted the development of valuable skills relevant to management roles, including resource optimization, cost control, and quality management. Step:1
The students were divided in to 7 teams and each team consist of 5 students. Each team was provided with 1 newspaper,1 cello tape, 1 blade. There were certain conditions that is the paper stand must hold a fully filled water bottle for at least for 30 seconds, the stand must be movable and should have the specified height with very limited resources.
Step: 2
The time given to the each team was 15 min, and with in the specified time the task assigned must be completed. After the completion of assigned task fully filled water bottle is placed on the stand to check whether it is able to hold the bottle or not.
