Levin Prabhu J

Associate Professor

Levin Prabhu J is a practicing architect, academic of architecture with more than a decade’s expertise in sustainable architectural technology and urban design. From 2016 – 2023, he was the associate professor of architecture at Marian college of architecture and planning, Trivandrum where he was been head of department for an academic year. He has taught and visited various architectural schools as studio critic and also as academic jury member for vertical building studio and sustainable urbanism.

He has post graduate degree in Urban planning and Design from Politecnico di Milano,Italy and CEPT  University under “ Erasmus Mundus Program ” by European Union . He completed his graduation in architecture from Anna University, Chennai.

Levin has practiced architecture and having an extensive architecture portfolio on contemporary architecture since he began his internship in 2004, and has been a licensed architect of COA since 2007. Levin’s teaching on architecture typically focuses more on the structures pertaining to multi- actors design decisions, by critical analyses and logical reasoning with the integration of architectural and technical inputs. As an academic, Levin is currently undertaking research in preparation for writing research essays on intersections connecting various disciplines aligning to Healthy liveable cities and Inclusive planning for the ageing society.
