The Adyavi Award is instituted as a flagship event as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations by DC School of Management and Technology (DCSMAT), Trivandrum. This initiative reflects the institution’s deep commitment to recognizing excellence, fostering leadership, and celebrating the contributions of women who drive progress in society.

The Adyavi Award is a prestigious recognition that honors the Best Woman Achiever of the Year, celebrating the resilience, strength, and transformative impact of women who break barriers and inspire change.

Adyavi – derived from the Sanskrit word “Adya” meaning primordial or first, and “Vi” symbolizing vitality and victory – represents the empowered woman who leads with courage, compassion, and vision. The award is not just a title; it’s a tribute to the unstoppable force of womanhood that thrives in every sphere of life — from entrepreneurship to education, from innovation to social change

Purpose of the Award

• To recognize and celebrate women who have made outstanding contributions in their respective fields.
• To highlight inspiring stories that encourage the next generation of women leaders.
• To foster a culture of empowerment and inclusion across communities.

Selection Process

Nominations were invited from across Kerala, and a distinguished panel of jurors reviewed each application. The top three nominees were chosen based on their impact, innovation, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
